Shared Harvest Garden Event

Shared Harvest Garden, located at Parmelee Farm, provides fresh, free produce to Killingworth residents all summer long. They also deliver this same produce to the Killingworth Helping Hands Food Pantry and the Read & Eat Literacy program at the library on Thursdays during the season. An all volunteer organization, they are looking for help this upcoming Earth Day to build new raised beds and fill them with soil. There will also be information on bees and beekeeping, as well as Ask A Master Gardener your gardening questions. All ages are welcome.

This activity will take place from 10a – 2p, rain or shine!

Please park in the Parmelee front lot and make your way back to the back garden. For those who already garden or those who want to learn – join us!
