Plot registrations for new gardeners are accepted at the Town Clerk’s office. Please email Mary at [email protected] with any questions or to renew or reserve a plot. Individual plots ( 20’x 20′)  are $30 per year.

The Killingworth Community Gardens’ mission is to provide residents with an opportunity to come together for the purpose of food production, environmental education and to encourage multi-generational gatherings. Individuals and groups at all levels of gardening expertise are welcome. Planning for the gardens started in early summer 2007. They opened in the spring of 2008.

Plots are first made available to adults who reside in Killingworth or groups with a base in Killingworth. Non-residents may register a plot after the April sign-up date. The stone barn adjacent to the main garden is available for storage.

Plot registration begins in early March. They are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Returning gardeners in good standing are given plot preference. There’s a limit of two plots per family until June 1. After that time, any remaining plots may be assigned. Unworked plots may be reassigned after June 15. The Application is available here.

The Community Gardens are truly a community of gardeners. We hope you will work together to make the experience pleasant for all.
